Rangitikei District
The Rangitikei is new and unique as a visitor destination, an accessible rural area in the heart of the north island. Rangitikei River

The people
The backbone of the community are farmers producing fine meat, woollen, cereal and cropping products. A growing part of the population, are artists, crafts people, and guides who introduce visitors to the natural wonders of the area.
